The Key To Understanding

And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Lk24:32

The Scriptures are a Closed book to most people, a mystery they cannot grasp or wrap their mind around in any logical manner. Jesus Himself walked and Ministered to the Disciples for three years as their personal companion and told them all things about the Kingdom of God, Salvation and His Sufferings. But they failed to comprehend any of it.

He said to them, “I will Give to you the KEYS of the Kingdom of Heaven!” Matt16:19. With these Keys they would be able to Un-lock the Mysteries of that Kingdom and offer it to mankind through the Process of Repentance and Faith. The Scripture reveal this to us in their subsequent Ministry spanning about fifty years and recorded in the Book of Acts.

The Kingdom of God was Open to sinful man on the CONDITION of a Repentance Proven by Deeds and Faith Working by Love! (Acts20:21, 26:18-20) In this Manner God could Restore man to an Obedient Relationship from his heart, circumcised, (NOT by Hands!) But by the Death of the Old Man with Christ! (Col2:11-12) Regrettably however, THIS Simplistic Process is also LOST in the Mind of man as was the Coming of the Kingdom to Most.

To Most the Scriptures are nothing more than a text book to support their orthodoxy. Ink on a page written to backup their Doctrinal beliefs, or so they think. Although they Search the Scriptures to find God, (John5:39) like the multitudes before them, they fail to SEE or Hear God when He speaks to them!

Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them. Matt13:14-15

This Concept of ‘Understanding with their hearts’ is the KEY we are looking for! When Jesus spoke of Sowing the Seed of the Word of God, Lk8:11-15, in WHICH Ground did it take Root? In the Good and Honest Heart broken apart in genuine Repentance! Among the Thorns it was always choked out and failed to produce fruit. The Thorns represent SIN in the heart of man. Un-Repented sin, behavior you will not forsake, actions that continue to be vile, BLOCK the Mind from this Understanding you need to be Saved!

Stubbornness, pig headed rebellion, outright rejection, these spell DOOM to the soul when it comes to a Real Redemption. God Resists the Proud, He only gives Grace to the Humble, the broken, the contrite. Who approach Him in the manner He prescribed. The Eyes of the Understanding will Remain Closed to the Truth if you refuse to Bend. Jesus is the STONE the Builders have Rejected. As Scripture Declares: If that Stone Falls on You, it will GRIND you to Powder! But if you Fall on it, You will be Broken in Repentance.

Most Professing Christians will be GROUND into Powder, obstinate to the end, crying Lord, Lord! (Matt7:21-23) PRIDE is the First Deadly Sin! (Prov6:16-19) The Wisdom of man Always tries to exalt itself over the Knowledge of God. That is Why they Trade the Truth of God for a Lie and Worship and Serve the Image (they have created!) Instead of the Christ. But to them the whole thing is Genuine.

Remember Jesus was telling the ‘Religious’ People that their Minds were closed to understanding, NOT the world. The Form of godliness they had Fashioned for themselves was based solely on Moses Teaching handed down through Generations of Tradition.  It’s NO Different for most of you in the churches. Your various Denominations were formed out of the Protestant Reformation and handed down to your present day church leaders, just like Moses teaching.

Attacking the foundation of this teaching would be exactly like ‘Destroying’ the Temple and rebuilding in three days, as Jesus told the Jews He would do. Therefore He HAD to be the Devil! Right?

The Religious System hated Jesus for TWO Fundamental Reasons. First because He Made Himself Equal With God (which was blasphemy to them) And Second because he Told them they had to STOP SINNING! To Bow to His Rule over them (as God, Messiah, Rabbi, ect) meant that EVERYTHING they were teaching and believing in was WRONG! The STONE had to FALL on Them, therefore they REJECTED IT and Preached a Different Gospel. (Just like You!)

The ONLY Difference is ‘APPEARANCES’ The Traditions and Ceremony of the Jewish Religion are repugnant to you now and quite unnecessary. BUT the Gospel Preached in your churches is equally as repugnant to God because it is based on a LIE. It works, yes, and produces tangible results, but so did Judaism. Everyone is living in their sins Safe and Secure from Judgment and assured of heaven when they die. Repentance is Confession and Faith is Trusting. Obedience equals ‘Works’ and is forbidden by the preachers and no one is permitted to expose the fallacy.

 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Matt10:25

The System in Place today is identical to the entrenched lies and hypocrisy Jesus encountered two thousand years ago. They hated the teaching of Christ and rejected His authority over them. Everything He said was distorted and misunderstood. The Simplicity of His Message was Lost then and Now to the Religious multitudes who collectively choose to INVENT another Gospel and present it to the world as Truth.

Jesus’ Gospel was Simple: ‘The Way Narrow, Difficult, FEW will enter therein. Most will take the Wide Road to Destruction, thinking they are religious. So STRIVE, Make Every Effort, Be Diligent to the point of Agony, Force your way into the Kingdom if Necessary!’ (Matt7:13-23, Lk13:24, Matt11:12)

Those who would Follow Him Must Take up their Cross, Deny themselves, lose their worldly lives for His sake and share in His suffering and persecutions. (Lk9:23-27, Matt10:16-26) They Must be willing to leave family and friends behind and give up everything for the Gospel. (Matt10:34-39)

Obedience to the Truth is not Optional, but essential to the Outcome of final Salvation. Repentance and Faith are BOTH PROVEN By DEEDS! And Believing in Jesus is OBEYING His Commands! (Lk6:46-49, Matt4:17, John3:39) 

The Gospel you follow in the Church Systems Denies ALL of this and Proclaims instead, ‘That God Loves you, Place your Trust in Jesus and you will be Saved!’ The foundation of Salvation is Not Repentance and Faith Proven by Deeds, BUT Confession and Trust based on Conjecture.

You Respond to the Gospel invitation admitting you are a sinner by nature and then RECEIVING Jesus through a Ritualistic means of Repeating Words, hands being laid upon you or Merely Trusting He has Saved you in spite of the fact that NOTHING has happened. This cannot be supported or found ANY WHERE in the Pages of Scripture, but it is universally accepted in the churches as genuine salvation by faith. Untold Millions have placed their eternal well-being in this System and have no clue whatsoever they are believing in a Lie.

The Theology behind this Phony Salvation Method is equally as disturbing, but is embraced by everyone.

First you are Born a Sinner by Nature, inherited from Adam and wholly incapable of any action that would accompany Salvation or turning to God. Therefore EVERYTHING Jesus Said about Striving, Taking up your Cross, Obeying His Commands, Keeping His Word, is OUT the Window! All of it HAS to Mean something entirely different than it appears to say. Because you can do NONE of it!

Repentance also by Necessity CANNOT mean Forsaking or Stopping any sin, that would be impossible. It has to Mean Confessing to God your inbred sinfulness and inability to obey Him, thus ‘Changing’ your mind about what you are. No Deeds are required, because NONE can be performed.

Since man is then incapacitated by his Sin Nature, God MUST SAVE him in his sins! Therefore Sins of the Nature are NOT accountable but they are forgiven, because you cannot help being born sinful God cannot hold it against you. All He expects is that you ‘Try’ to do better as He gives you Light through the Holy Spirit coming in to change your desires over time.

Next Faith is NEVER DOING the Right thing, as the Bible Says, BUT ‘Believing’ the right thing. Trusting that your sins are Covered and you have been Declared Righteous in God’s Sight even though you remain un-righteous in reality. Here the DEEDS of Faith automatically become secondary to the TRUST. God Settled the Sin question by you ‘Receiving’ Jesus, so your actions good or bad from that point forward are really of no consequence other than the lost of rewards or fellowship or some chastisement.

Now the Warnings are excused: ‘If you Commit Certain Sins you will be Disqualified from the Kingdom’ (The Bible says: Gal5:19-21, 1Cor6:9-10, Eph5:5-7)  Let no one Deceive you with empty words!

But Under Your Gospel this Can’t Possibly Mean the ‘Christian!’ That would spell disaster for the so-called coverts in the churches because they have ALL Came into the Kingdom Still Sinning! TOLD by the Preachers they are Saved and God accepted them as is.

Does any of this Sound Familiar yet? You disdain the Jews for rejecting and crucifying Jesus, YET you would DO the EXACT SAME THING if given the chance! In essence you’ve done already by rejecting His teaching and going for the Lie! Jesus Said ‘Take up your Cross and Follow Me!”  You listen to preachers who tell you that following Him is NOT the Gospel. Your first mistake is assuming these teachers are telling you the truth when it’s obvious they are the blind leading the blind! To them Repentance involves no Change of Behavior, No Turning from Sin and No Fruit unto Righteousness! It is merely a ‘Change’ of Mind about your ‘sinful’ Condition.

Jesus said ‘Go and Sin no More!’ You Listen to Pastors who say the Sin will NEVER Stop! You Search the Scriptures for an excuse to sin. Yet the Bible from Start to Finish calls you OUT of Sin! 

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. Isa55:7

WHY Do you argue in favor of Sin? Because The Keys of Understanding You DO NOT Possess! The Seed has been Sown into your thorny heart of rebellion. You SEE, But Can’t Perceive! You Hear but Can’t Comprehend! The Eyes of your heart are CLOSED to the Truth! FALL on the STONE and be Broken before you take your Lie to the Judgment.
